La succession des changements et le mouvement continue posent avec force ce qui s’oublie et ce qu’il reste comme traces vivantes du passé. En effet, si vitesse et oubli constituent les deux faces de notre rapport au présent, la mémoire s’avère constituer un point d’interface entre ces deux processus. Interroger la mémoire au travers la diversité des traces invite à analyser les dispositifs d’effacement et d’oubli du passé et à réinterroger les modalités d’articulation entre passé et avenir. A partir d’une enquête longitudinale conduite dans un organisme d’habitat social, les résultats montrent comment la pluralité des formes de mémoire illustre la richesse des cultures professionnelles.

From oblivion to the diversity of memory traces. The case of a changing organizationThe succession of changes and the continuous movement set what is forgotten and what remains as living traces of the past. Indeed, if speed and forgetting are the two sides of our relationship to the present, memory is a point of interface between these two processes. To question memory through the diversity of traces invites us to analyse the devices of erasing and forgetting the past and to reinterrogate the modalities of articulation between the past and the future. Based on a longitudinal survey conducted in a social housing organization, the results show how the plurality of forms of memory illustrates the richness of professional cultures.
