There is no real comprehensive commentary to Strabo’s account on Caucasian Albania (Strabo, XI, 4, 502-503C). This paper will consider the most important pieces of information provided by the Geography, focusing on the sources, the strategic continuum formed by the Albanians and the Iberians, and the textual problem in Strabo, XI, 4, 6, 503C, concerning the Albanian kings.

Il n’y a pas de véritable commentaire complet du récit de Strabon sur l’Albanie du Caucase (Strabon, XI, 4, 502-503C). Cet article examinera les principales informations fournies par la Géographie, en se concentrant sur les sources, le continuum stratégique formé par les Albanais et les Ibères, et le problème textuel de Strabon, XI, 4, 6, 503C, concernant les rois de l’Albanie du Caucase.
