Soon after I began writing Chiara Bonfiglioli’s book review, I realized that the text would outgrow review format. I find Bonfiglioli’s book even more inspiring as I myself have studied the memories and experiences of women textile workers in Slovenia, one of the former Yugoslav republics, for the past twenty years.
