Résumé 0

Established in 2001, France's national nutrition health program (Programme national nutrition santé) is a public health policy aimed at educating people about and promoting health through food choices and physical activity. With a strong inter-ministerial dimension, its implementation involves the input of several administrations and decentralized services. This article analyzes three different regions in order to question the transversality of health policies and the coordination capacity of different sectors. We show that the coordination tools proposed and developed at the regional level fail to slow down the effects of intersectoral subdivisions, as well as encountering real difficulties in terms of integrating multiple and rival prevention mechanisms.
