Cet article s’intéresse à l’importation du budget participatif des lycées en région Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Il entreprend d’en saisir la réappropriation à travers une analyse contextualisée des acteurs en prise avec le dispositif. Notre recherche montre que les anticipations des réformateurs conduisent à une mise en œuvre a minima du dispositif susceptible d’atténuer les résistances au changement. Pourtant, l’analyse montre que cette mise en œuvre ne se fait pas sans heurts, les acteurs administratifs et les proviseurs des lycées réinvestissant leurs intérêts et leurs pratiques contribuant ainsi à une redéfinition du dispositif.

Reforming through Experimentation: the Local Reception of High-School Participatory Bubdgeting in Nord-Pas-de-Calais Region This article aims at analyzing the transfer of high-school participatory budgeting within the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region. It undertakes this through a contextualized analysis of the actors engaged with this particular policy instrument. The research shows that reformers’ anticipations led to a minimal implementation of this policy instrument, which may reduce resistance to the changes. However, the analysis shows that this implementation does not happen smoothly, as the administrative actors and schools’ principals who invest their interests and practices in this policy instrument contribute to its redefinition.
