This article analyzes how the development of course materials by future teachers accompanied by their supervisors contributes to their professional training. This modality of professional training was experienced in Cameroon as part of an innovative project, PReNuM-AC, which aims to make student teachers produce online resources for math teachers in sixth form classes. In order to take into account a "North" context (France) for the design of the project and a "South" context (Cameroon) for its implementation, we have drawn on research on documentational inquiry and on the levels of didactic codetermination of ATD. We are aiming at identifying the conditions and constraints that influence the process of development of course materials and at highlighting impact of this process in terms of initial training.
