C’est la présentation d’une patiente d’origine maghrébine qui consulte pour une trichotillomanie (tic d’arrachage des cheveux) dans un contexte de détresse affective et sociale, dans un centre de santé.Le travail du dermatologue psychothérapeute s’inspire de la théorie relationnelle de Sami-Ali explicitée par des citations de Sami Ali. L’accent est mis sur le travail avec les rêves, parce qu’il est déterminant pour comprendre la demande relationnelle de la patiente, pour comprendre la valeur relationnelle du symptôme et pour créer une relation de confiance qui s’établira de façon stable, suite à une longue période « d’apprivoisement ».

This is the presentation of a patient of North African origin who consults for a trichotillomania (tic of tearing the hair) in a context of emotional and social distress, in a health center.The work of the psychotherapist dermatologist is inspired by Sami-Ali’s relational theory, made explicit by quotes from Sami Ali.The emphasis is made on working with dreams, because it is decisive in understanding the patient’s relational demand, in understanding the relational value of the symptom and to create a relationship of trust that will be established in a stable fashion, after a long period of “taming”
