After the Cold War

Fiche de la collection

Description
  • Few aspects of the post-WWII world were unmarked by the ideological, cultural, political and economic confrontations of the Cold War. The end of the Cold War and the collapse of the world views founded upon it have thus triggered an on-going and profound re-assessment of our understanding of the recent past. This research network adopts a comparative approach to analyse the processes and practices deployed in four former Cold War 'front line' countries, Spain, Indonesia, France and Chile as they try to make sense of this past and find a path to the future.
