Résumé
This service encounter takes place between an advisor for international students and a number of exchange students from Italy, Spain and Hungary. The student advisor explains a few practicalities, e.g., where to pay the student fees, etc., and also goes through various lists with them. During the event, while the advisor is busy photocopying forms or writing down names, the students frequently talk to each other in their various first languages or German, i.e. the language of their host country.
