The installation views reproduced on double-page spreads throughout this volume are intended to offer the reader a tour through Westkunst. The photos illustrate both the scenographic structure created inside the Cologne Trade-Fair building (the ‘Rheinhallen’) by architect Oswald Mathias Ungers, and the display of art works in the rooms thus created.
