Over fifteen years ago I was invited by Thomas Drew-Bear and Mehmet Taşlıalan to participate in a conference at Yalvaç, dedicated to the city’s ancient predecessor, Antioch of Pisidia. I seize the occasion to thank again the organizers for their kind invitation, from which, regrettably, I could not profit because of a last-minute health impediment.
