Soil carbon content, bulk densities, allophane and MIRS data on Aquiares Watershed (Costa Rica)

Résumé 0

Data set used for a paper published in SOIL (2019) Short-range-order minerals as powerful factors explaining deep soil organic carbon stock distribution: the case of a coffee agroforestry plantation on Andosols in Costa Rica. Data comprised : Sheet 1 geographical coordinates, elevation of 72 soil profiles located in the watershed of the Aquiares Farm (1km2) ; Sheet 2: measured data for C content, C:N ratio, oxalate and sodium-pryphosphate extractable forms of Al, Fe and Si ; Sheet 3 : 4 replicates of measured bulk densities on 9 soil profiles; Sheet 4 : Mid infrared spectra of the 598 soil samples from the 72 soil profiles (a,b, c, d, e , f ,g, h are the soil depths; each 10cm from 0 to 200 cm deep). Sheet 5 : predicted values for C content, C stock, bulk densities and oxalate and sodium-pryphosphate extractable forms of Al, Fe and Si ; and belonging to measured and spectral cluster (see the paper in SOIL for explanation)
