Das geht aus seiner Vita hervor. die zweifedlos am Ende des 10. Jahrhunderts verfaBt wurde. Im 10. Jahrhundert gründeten die Grafen von Gascogne das Kloster Saint Géni, und zwar auf dem Grund und Boden der Vicomtes von Gascogne- Lomagne. Dièse letzteren gewährten ihm Schutz und richteten dort im 11. Jahrhundert eine Werkstätte für die Prägung von Münzen ein. Drei Texte, eine Münze : das ist ailes, was von dieser heiligen Stätte ubrigbleibt, die in der zweiten Hälfte des 11. Jahrhunderts niedergebrannt, ihres Bodens und ihrer Rechte beraubt und auf der Karte der kirchlichen Einrichtungen gelöscht wurde.
