In October 1983, on the occasion of the construction of a building in Bordeaux, Porte-Dijeaux street, several protohistorical and gallo-roman nivels, have been excavated. A continuous stratigraphy between the VIth century BC and the IInd AD has been drawn. Studying the archaeological objects and the made out structures, we may have a new thought about the origins of Bordeaux and try to understand the topographic and urban development of this town.

En octobre 1983, à l’occasion de la construction d’un immeuble rue Porte-Dijeaux, à Bordeaux, de nombreuses strates protohistoriques et gallo-romaines ont pu être fouillées. Une stratigraphie continue du VIe siècle avant Jésus-Christ au IIe siècle après Jésus-Christ a été relevée. L’étude du mobilier archéologique et des structures dégagées permet d’asseoir une nouvelle réflexion sur les origines de la ville de Bordeaux et d’essayer d’en comprendre le développement topographique et urbain.
