Manuel Martín-Bueno et al., « La ciudad celtibérica de Valdeherrera (Calatayud, Aragon) », Aquitania, ID : 10.3406/aquit.2012.965
We present hereby the first results achieved by the Project Valdeherrera. After several prospecting and excavation campaigns one of the main Celtiberian settlements, which was destroyed by the Sertorian wars. The chronology of the site goes from the Bronze Age to the decline of the Roman Empire, though in this last period it was an agricultural “villa”. Due to the existence of a Muslim necropolis, it is not possible to determine a last period of occupation in the site between the VIII and IX centuries.
