The Aquitaviae participatory map is presented as an instrument for overcoming the main problems raised by the publication of studies on ancient roadways, especially with respect to the precision of the course of the road, the history of the monument and the reliability of data about it. A recording method (from the general to the particular) is proposed based on the recording of the two roadways between Dax and Bordeaux and it is suggested an entry be added for “itinerary” under the “road section” heading.

La carte participative Aquitaviae est présentée comme un instrument permettant de résoudre les principaux problèmes posés par la publication d’études sur les voies antiques, en particulier concernant la précision du tracé, l’histoire du monument et la fiabilité des données le concernant. À partir de l’enregistrement des deux voies qui reliaient Dax à Bordeaux, il est proposé une méthode d’enregistrement (du général au particulier) et suggéré l’ajout d’une entrée “itinéraire” à la rubrique “tronçon”.
