Investigations on a Ruproth "mixed" beidellite. This mineral displays a tri-periodic crystalline structure in the Na or -Li beidellite state. Stacking of layers becomes disordered in Ca-beidellite. Two forms of hydration isotherms correspond to the two structural forms -regular and turbo-stratic. Observations concerning migration of Li-cations show that the tri-periodic order is fortered by tetrahedral substitutions.

Etudes d'une beidellite "mixte" de Rupsroth. Ce minéral présente une organisation cristalline tri-périodique à l'état de beidellite-Na ou -Li. L'empilement des feuillets devient désordonné dans la beidellite-Ca. A ces deux formes d'organisation -ordonnée et turbostratique-correspondent deux formes d'isothermes d'hydratation. Les observations sur la migration des cations Li montrent que l'ordre tri-périodique est favorisé par les substitutions tétraédriques.
