Résumé
The elastic scattering differential cross section of ɑ-particles by ɑ-nuclei described in the ɑ-model has been calculated in the plane-wave Born approximation. It is shown that, when the target nucleus is Be8 and the range of the interaction between ɑ-particles is zero, the contribution of the heavy-particle stripping mode is very small in comparison with those of the direct and knock-out processes, so that the total differential cross section is forward peaked.
