Résumé
The Robinson-Schild and Strauss explicit solution of the Einstein-Maxwell equations is considered. It is shown that the only type D spaces it contains are the charged Kerr-Nut metrics (cases II A-F in Kinnersley [9]) and a stationnary metric depending on three real constants. A similar result is obtained for the spaces where both null eigenvectors of the Maxwell field coincide with eigenvectors of the Weyl tensor.
