Le bâtiment situé à l'extrémité Ο de la terrasse de Marmaria a été interprété de diverses manières : maison des prêtres, atelier de la tholos, temple à double cella. Malgré la disparition du mur E, détruit lors de la construction du temple en calcaire, on peut restituer un plan très proche de celui de l'hestiatorion de Perachora. Bâti, semble-t-il, à la fin du VIe s., l'hestiatorion de Marmaria apparaît comme un des plus anciens bâtiments de ce type.
