Στο άρθρο δημοσιεύονται τα νομίσματα από τις ανασκαφές της Γαλλικής Αρχαιολογικής Σχολής στο Αρχηγέσιο, κατά τα έτη 1961-1962. Επειδή το αρχαιολογικό τους πλαίσιο δεν είναι γνωστό, προσφέρουν ελάχιστες πληροφορίες για την ιστορία του χώρου. Ωστόσο, συμπληρώνουν την εικόνα της κυκλοφορίας των χάλκινων νομισμάτων στο νησί και για το λόγο αυτό συγκεντρώνονται όλες οι διαθέσιμες νομισματικές μαρτυρίες. Τα αποτελέσματα παραβάλλονται με εκείνα των ανασκαφών της ΓΑΣ στην Τήνο. Σε παράρτημα δημοσιεύεται ένα υπόχαλκο κυπριακό νόμισμα του βασιλιά Ευέλθοντα της Σαλαμίνας, το οποίο βρέθηκε το 1911 στις ανασκαφές του Ηραίου και φυλάσσεται στο Νομισματικό Μουσείο Αθηνών. Βρίσκει τη θέση του ανάμεσα στις σπάνιες μαρτυρίες σχέσεων μεταξύ Κύπρου και Δήλου στα τέλη του 6ου αι. π.Χ.

This article comprises the publication of the coins found in 1961-1962 during the excavation of the Archegesion by the French School at Athens. Out of context, they can tell us little about the history of the site. On the other hand, they complete the picture of the circulation of bronze coins on the island. To this end, the available numismatic evidence has been assembled. The results are compared to those of the EFA excavation at Tenos. As an appendix, a Cypriot coin is published bearing the head of King Evelthon of Salamis, found in 1911 during the excavation of the Heraeon and preserved in the Athens Numismatic Museum. It finds a place among the rare pieces of evidence for the relations between Cyprus and Delos at the end of the 6th century BC.

Dans cet article sont publiées les monnaies trouvées en 1961-1962 dans les fouilles de l'École française d'Athènes à l'Archégésion. Sans leur contexte, elles nous apprennent peu sur l'histoire du site. En revanche, elles complètent l'image de la circulation des monnaies en bronze dans l'île. À cette fin, les témoignages numismatiques disponibles ont été rassemblés. Les résultats sont comparés à ceux de la fouille de l'EFA à Ténos. En appendice, une monnaie chypriote fourrée du roi Évelthon de Salamine est publiée, trouvée en 1911 dans les fouilles de l'Héraion et conservée au Musée numismatique d'Athènes. Elle trouve sa place parmi les rares attestations des relations entre Chypre et Délos à la fin du VIe siècle av.J.-C.
