Η επιγραφή που αποτέλεσε την αφορμή για τη συγγραφή αυτού του άρθρου ανακαλύφθηκε τον Οκτώβριο του 2005 και επιτρέπει την ταύτιση ενός νέου ιερού της Θάσου, το οποίο ήρθε στο φως το 2003 κοντά στο Θεσμοφόριο αλλά είχε παραμείνει ανώνυμο. Πρόκειται για ένα Δήλιον, αφιερωμένο στο «Δήλιο» Απόλλωνα και στην Άρτεμη «Δηλία». Το κείμενο, που χρονολογείται στις αρχές του πρώτου μισού του 4ου αι. π.Χ., αποτελείται από δύο διαδοχικά ψηφίσματα: το πρώτο απαγορεύει την είσοδο στο ιερό στις γυναίκες κατά τη διάρκεια των Θεσμοφορίων, ενώ το δεύτερο τους απαγορεύει να βόσκουν ζώα στο ιερό. Οι παραβάτες τιμωρούνται με ηθικές και θρησκευτικές κυρώσεις, το ενθυμιστόν, το οποίο, με τη μορφή αυτή, μαρτυρείται επιγραφικά δύο φορές και μόνο στη Θάσο. Η μελέτη του κειμένου μας δίνει την ευκαιρία να καταρτίσουμε τον κατάλογο των Δηλίων, που είναι γνωστά στον ελληνικό κόσμο και να αναφερθούμε στις σχέσεις μεταξύ της Θάσου, της μητρόπολής της Πάρου και του δηλιακού ιερού. Υπογραμμίζουμε επίσης το ρόλο και τη θέση του Δηλίου της Θάσου στο αμυντικό σύστημα της πόλης κατά την αρχαϊκή περίοδο.

The inscription that is the subject of this article was discovered in October 2005 and enables us to identify a new sanctuary on Thasos that came to light in 2003 not far from the Thesmophorion, but which has hitherto remained anonymous. It is a Delion, dedicated to 'Delian' Apollo and Artemis. The text, which is dated fairly early in the first half of the 4th century BC, consists of two successive decrees: the first forbids women from entering the sanctuary during the Thesmophoria, and the second forbids the grazing of cattle in it. The punishment for those who contravene is of a moral and religious order, the ενθυμιστόν, which, in this form, is attested epigraphically only on Thasos on two occasions. The study of the text affords an opportunity to draw up a list of the Delia known in the ancient Greek world and to touch upon the subject of the relations between Thasos, its mother city Paros, and the Delian sanctuary. The role played by the Delion on Thasos in the defensive system of the city in the Archaic period is also emphasised.

L'inscription qui est à l'origine de cet article, découverte en octobre 2005, permet d'identifier un nouveau sanctuaire thasien, mis au jour en 2003 non loin du Thesmophorion mais demeuré alors anonyme. Il s'agit d'un Délion, consacré à Apollon et à Artémis « Déliens ». Le texte, datable assez haut dans la première moitié du IVe siècle av. J.-C., se compose de deux décrets successifs : le premier interdit aux femmes l'accès au sanctuaire lors des Thesmophories, le second leur défend d'y faire paître du bétail. Les contrevenantes sont punies d'une sanction, d'ordre moral et religieux, l'ενθυμιστόν, qui, sous cette forme, n'est attestée épigraphiquement qu'à Thasos, à deux reprises. L'étude du texte donne l'occasion de dresser la liste des Délia connus dans le monde grec et d'évoquer à ce sujet les rapports entre Thasos, sa métropole Paros et le sanctuaire délien. On souligne aussi le rôle et la place du Délion thasien dans le système défensif de la ville à l'époque archaïque.
