Alexandre Guillemoz, « En chamanisme coréen. Kut pour le mort ? pour les vivants ? », Bulletin de l'École française d'Extrême-Orient, ID : 10.3406/befeo.1992.1883
In Korean Shamanism, "Kut for the Dead or for the Living?" by Alexandre Guillemoz In describing a Korean shamanistic ceremony (kut) held in an apartment in Seoul in 1986 on the occasion of the death of a grandfather, the author focuses on the words pronounced by the family members and the shamans in order to answer the question: "Kut for the living or for the dead?". He seeks in this manner to gain a new perspective on this ritual in which the living speak and act out their mourning through the mudang, who not only "lends her lips to the dead" but also leads him to the place where he can find rest.
