Florence Yvon-Tran Artisanat et commerce villageois dans le Viêt-Nam prémoderne, du XIe au XIXe siècle Le cas de l'ancienne agglomération villageoise de Phù Ninh (région du Kinh Вāс) Le présent article se propose d'examiner sur la longue durée, à partir de sources anciennes (chroniques villageoises, annales impériales, inscriptions, etc.), l'évolution économique d'une ancienne agglomération villageoise, considérée à travers l'exploitation des plantes médicinales, l'industrie textile et les transformations survenues dans la physionomie des marchés qui se sont succédés sur son territoire. Trois phases semblent pouvoir être distinguées : implantation, pendant la période Ly-Trân, d'activités artisanales et formation spontanée d'un premier marché local ; expansion du secteur artisanal accompagnée d'une progression des échanges aux XVIe et XVIIe siècles ; durant la période allant du XVIIIe à la fin du XIXe siècle, et plus particulièrement au cours du XVIIIe siècle, accélération du développement des activités commerciales. Par certains aspects, l'analyse de l'ancienne agglomération de Phù Ninh a permis une meilleure compréhension de l'évolution économique des villages « avancés ».
