Les Sericinae de l'archipel des Comores (Coleoptera, Scarabaeoidea)

In this faunal study two new genera and seven new species of Sericinae from the Comoros Islands are described. The new generic names proposed are : Blebea, Ercomoana. The new specific names proposed are : Balbera anjouanae, B. matilei ; Hyposerica porphyrea, H. fuliginosa, H. orbi-culata ; Blebea elongata ; Ercomoana longiclava. The synonymy between Ablabera gracilis and Ablabera laevigata, n. syn., two species described by Fairmaire in the same work, is etablished. A new characterisation of A. gracilis is given and this species is transferred in the genus Balbera Fairmaire. The genus Hyposerica is redefined and the type-species is designated. Keys to tribe, genera and species are provided. All taxa are described and illustrated by habitus figures and drawings of the male genitalia and external characters used in keys. The affinities between the comorian and malagasy sericine faunas are discussed. Observations are presented on biogeographical distribution and faunal relationships.

Deux nouveaux genres et sept nouvelles espèces de Sericinae sont décrits des Comores. Une nouvelle synonymie est établie pour Ablabera laevigata Fairmaire et Ablabera gracilis Fairmaire, les caractères de cette dernière espèce étant redéfinis. A. gracilis est placée dans le genre malgache Balbera Fairmaire. Une espèce-type est désignée pour le genre Hyposerica Brenske. Des tableaux de caractères permettent de différencier tribus, genres et espèces. Tous les caractères importants et l'habitus d'une espèce par genre sont figurés. La position des espèces comoriennes au sein des Sericinae est discutée.
