The Dolichopodids and Syrphids flies in the isles of the "reserve of the Biosphere" of Iroise sea (Finistère, France) : first inventory (Diptera). Presently, biodiversity is widely under discussion, and the knowledge of the natural patrimony is of first importance. An inventory of Dolichopodid and Syrphid flies was made in the isle of the "reserve of the Biosphere" of Iroise sea using yellow water traps and pitfall traps. Results were analyzed in relation with environment. In France, Medetera kerzhneri (Dolichopodidae) is a new listed species. For the first time Xanthogramma festivum (Syrphidae) was found in Brittany such as several other species which were registered in the Finistère.

À un moment où la biodiversité est largement discutée, la connaissance du patrimoine naturel revêt une importance toute particulière. Les Dolichopodidés et les Syrphidés ont été inventoriés dans les îles de la "réserve de la Biosphère" d'Iroise au moyen de pièges jaunes et de pièges de type "Barber". Les résultats ont été analysés en relation avec le milieu. Medetera kerzhneri (Dolichopodidés) est nouveau pour la France, plusieurs espèces sont nouvellement citées pour le Finistère. Xanthogramma festivum (Syrphidés) est trouvé pour la première fois en Bretagne.
