Study of some possible biological variations in Parlatoria oleae(Colvée) (Hemiptera, Diaspididae). The study attempted on the possible biological variations on two hosts of substitution : the potato (Solanum tuberosum) and the pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) to show that it exists an influence certain of the plant-host. The one intervenes here essentially in the modification of some biological parameters as the length of the evolutionary cycle, the importance and the length of oviposition, the sex-ratio and the size of the insect. Our results have been compared and discuted with data got by other authors for the same species in other surroundings.

L'étude entreprise sur les variations biologiques possibles chez Parlatoria oleae sur deux hôtes de substitution : la pomme de terre (Solanum tuberosum) et la citrouille (Cucurbita pepo) montre qu'il existe une influence certaine de la plante-hôte. Celle-ci intervient essentiellement dans la modification de certains paramètres biologiques : la durée du cycle évolutif, l'importance et la durée de l'oviposition, le sex-ratio et la taille de l'insecte. Nos résultats ont été confrontés avec les données obtenues par d'autres auteurs chez la même espèce dans d'autres milieux.
