About Angamiana melanoptera, an exceptional new species of the Polyneurini's tribe (Rhynchota, Homoptera, Cicadidae). The exceptional discovery of a new species of the genus Angamiana Distant, 1890, gives the opportunity, before to describe the new species, to revisit the tribe of Polyneurini.

La découverte exceptionnelle d'une nouvelle espèce du genre Angamiana Distant, 1890, conduit à revisiter la tribu des Polyneurini, à en tracer l'historique, puis à décrire la nouvelle espèce.
