The labium of Sminthurus viridis (L.) and Anurida maritima (Guérin) (Hexapoda, Collembola). Musculature and nerves of the labium of two Collembola, Sminthurus viridis (Sminthuridae) and Anurida maritima (Neanuridae) are described. The simplification of the labium of the genus Anurida is underlined. A morphological interpretation of the labium, taking into accounts comparative anatomical and embryological data, is proposed : it is formed by a postmentum with a ventral groove called the linea ventralis, followed by an even prementum ended by a ligula composed of the so called "hyaline plate" and the apical papillae. The palpus is absent in almost all the Collembola, save some species of Sminthuridae and of Brachystomellidae.

La musculature et l'innervation du labium de deux Collemboles, Sminthurus viridis (Sminthuridae) et Anurida maritima (Neanuridae) sont décrites. La simplification du labium d'A. maritima est soulignée. Une interprétation morphologique du labium, prenant en compte les données anatomiques et embryologiques, est proposée : il comprend un postmentum pourvu d'un sillon ventral appelé la linea ventralis, suivi par un prémentum pair prolongé par une ligula comprenant la "lamelle hyaline" et des papilles apicales sensorielles. Le palpe est absent chez presque tous les Collemboles, sauf chez quelques espèces de Sminthuridae et de Brachystomellidae.
