Le polyphosphate de cuivre˗potassium : Cu K₂(PO₃)₄ cristallise avec une maille monoclinique : a = 10,94₀ ; b = 12,25₀ ; c = 7,903₇ ; β = 100,489° renfermant quatre unités moléculaires. Le groupe spatial est Cc. La structure de ce composé présente beaucoup d'analogie avec celle de Mn (NH₄)₂(PO₃)₄. Chaque maille contient deux chaînes de tétraèdres PO₄, de période huit tétraèdres. Le cation Cu⁺⁺ a une coordination octaédrique déformée (4 liaisons courtes, 2 longues).
