The Cocoa Tree in French Guiana. After a brief reminder of the conditions and circumstances under which cacao plantations in Guiana were founded, the authors give us an illustrated commentary regarding the manufacture by local craftsmen of the chocolate called "country chocolate" or "cocoa bar".

Après un bref rappel des conditions et des circonstances de l'installation des plantations de cacaoyers en Guyane, les auteurs nous donnent un commentaire illustré de la fabrication artisanale du chocolat appelé "chocolat pays" ou "bâton caco".
