E. E. Левкиевская. Славянская мифология : проблемы диалектного числения. Автор ставит перед собой задачу исследовать мифологический персонаж , сумму значимых признаков , объединенных одним имением. Таким образом становится возможным проанализировать проявление каждого из этих признаков внутри славянской зоны и создать глобальную диалектную картину. Этот анализ можно применить к верованиям , касающимся происхождения и внешнего вида вампира , в результате чего обнаруживаются различия между отдельными славянскими регионами. Во всех славянских традициях вампир считается существом , враждебным человеком. Сходным образом можно выделить общее ядро мотивов и верований , начиная с принадлежности вампира миру "заложных покойников ".

The author studies the mythological character as grouping of relevant signs, assembled under one name. Hence, it is possible to analyse the apparition of each of these signs within the Slavic zone and to create a general dialectal picture. Beliefs concerning the origin and aspect of the vampire are suitable for such an analysis and reveal differences in various slavic regions. All Slav traditions regard the vampire as a harmful being for man. In the same way, it is possible to single out a common nucleus of motives and beliefs, starting with that of the vampire belonging to the world of the "suspended dead " (záložnýj рокоіпік).

L'auteur propose d'étudier le personnage mythologique, comme un ensemble de signes pertinents rassemblés sous un nom. Ainsi, il est possible d'analyser la manifestation de chacun de ces signes à l'intérieur de la zone slave et de créer un tableau dialectal global . Les croyances concernant l'origine et l'aspect du vampire se prêtent à cette analyse en révélant des différences dans les diverses régions slaves. Toutes les traditions slaves considèrent le vampire comme un être nuisible pour l'homme. De même, on peut distinguer un noyau commun de motifs et de croyances, à commencer par l'appartenance du vampire au monde des "morts en sursis".
