ДЕПРЕТТО К., Щорс (1939) A. Довженко Статья посвящена известному фильму, «Щорс », который кинорежиссер А.Довженко окончил в 1939 в ответ на «заказ» Сталина (1935), желающий «украинского Чапаева ». Приводя богатый документальный материал (в том числе и документы из архива Довженко), автор восстанавливает генезис фильма и помехи цензуры (1936-1939). Дальше идет расшифровка идеологических искажений, которым подвергнуто в фильме изображение истории, в связи с политическим контекстом конца 30-ых годов в СССР (истребление «троцкистов » и угроза войны), а также в связи с созданием сталинских моделей культуры. Однако интерес «Щорса » шире его идеологической подоплеки и фильм отмечен творческим мастерством режиссера.

DEPRETTO С., Dovzhenko's Shchors (1939) This paper is about the famous movie picture Shchors , which Dovzhenko ended in 1939, after in 1935 Stalin asked him for an «Ukrainian Chapaiev ». Drawing from various documents such as Dovzhenko's archive in RGALI, the author shows the history of the film and its troubles with censorship (1936-1939). Further, the author explains the ideological deformation of the history in that film, which reflects the ideological pressure of the time (elimination of the «trotskiste », Moscow trials and war danger), but which also deals with the creation of Stalinist cultural models. However the film is not limited to that and still reflects Dovzhenko's creative achievements.

L'article s'intéresse à l'un des films les plus célèbres du cinéma stalinien, Ščors de Dovženko ou le «Čapaev ukrainien », terminé en 1939, suite à une commande de Staline de 1935. S'appuyant sur l'étude de nombreuses sources (archives, presse, témoignages, études savantes), l'auteur restitue la genèse cfe l'œuvre et ses démêlés avec la censure (1936-1939). Elle s'efforce ensuite de montrer la déformation idéologique à laquelle est soumise la représentation cfe l'histoire dans le film, en la rapportant au contexte politique de la fin des années trente (élimination des «trotskystes », menace de guerre) et au problème plus général de la constitution des modèles culturels staliniens. Le film ne saurait cependant se réduire à cet aspect et garde des liens significatifs avec la vision créatrice propre de Dovženko.
