Résumé
The literary and epigraphic evidence relative to administrative praxis of the cities of the Iberian peninsula in the previous stage to the consolidation of Roman institutional models (ss. III BC) is examined. The control of collective spaces by local institutions is attested in several testimonies, respecting urban nuclei (public buildings, infrastructures, defensive systems), as well as territory (monitoring of boundaries, landmark of them by means of symbolic elements, celebration of civic rituals).
