Résumé En

The sanctuary of the Nymph located on the hill of Kafizin, center Cyprus, has been in use for a very short time between 183 and 177 B. C. The Nymph was worshipped by an almost exclusive worshipper and some potters. The offerings consist in hundreds of ceramic vessels. More than 300 are inscribed in Cypro-syllabic and/ or Greek alphabetic scripts. They are mostly Plain ware vases, but some are fine and glazed. The shapes are miscellaneous : varied bowls, chytra, pans, lagynoi, jugs, goblets, amphorae, candelabra, incense-burners. It offers a remarkable range of utensils, cooking, drinking and dinner sets. These offerings allow us to identify the ritual practices that took place in the sanctuary and to study individual piety and brotherhood in Hellenistic Cyprus.
