Late Antiquity pottery in Marseilles (extrimity of the antique port, excavations DII 11 and DII 15). Starting out from a detailed analysis of the stratigraphy from two excavations made in 1979, in the sediments of the far extrimity of the antique port of Marseilles, the author demonstrates the evolution of the material brought to light (almost exclusively pottery). It corresponds to five distinct periods in the course of Late Antiquity. The well illustrated study is established on the base of large categories of material, according to a precise method presenting a chronological evolution of formes, ornements and techniques. Diagrams and comparative plates facilitate the understanding of the general evolution.

A partir d'une analyse fine de la stratigraphie de deux sondages pratiqués en 1979 dans les sédiments de la corne du port antique de Marseille, l'auteur met en évidence l'évolution du mobilier exhumé (presque exclusivement céramique) durant les cinq phases individualisées au cours de l'Antiquité tardive. L'étude, bien illustrée, est faite par grandes catégories de matériel selon un processus précis de présentation diachronique des formes, des décors et des techniques. Diagrammes et tableaux comparatifs ou récapitulatifs facilitent la compréhension de l'évolution générale.
