A rescue excavation carried out on the lower terraces of the oppidum of "La Roche-de-Comps" in the early eighties has uncovered the remains of a habitat initially built in the last quarter of the VIth c. and abandoned about 375 B.C. The authors present the architectural remains, the lay-out of the dwellings and the movable objects in chronological phases. The movable objects are carefully quantified and illustrated, and the types of production discussed. Particular attention is given to a transformation of the habitat at the end of the Vth c, when constructions on posts are replaced by walls with a dry stone bottom layer.

Une fouille d'urgence entreprise au tout début des années 80 sur les terrasses basses de l'oppidum de la Roche-de-Comps, a mis au jour les vestiges d'un habitat, établi initialement dans le dernier quart du VIe s. et abandonné vers 375 av. J.-C. Les auteurs présentent, par phase chronologique, les restes architecturaux et les aménagements domestiques ainsi que les mobiliers. Ces derniers, commentés par types de production, sont soigneusement quantifiés et illustrés. Une importante mutation de l'habitat à la fin du Ve s. est soulignée, avec l'abandon des constructions sur poteaux au profit de murs à solin en pierre sèche.
