Résumé
Emile Lizé : Voltaire and the Russian academy. The documents presented here, already published in the 19th Century, but omitted by the Besterman edition of Voltaire's correspondence, are from the archives of the French Foreign Ministry. They show the involvement of the French ambassador to St. Petersburg in Voltaire's election to the Russian Academy in 1746.
