« There is no such thing as the Third-World. » During the colloquium entitled « Le Tiers-Mondisme en question », the grating account by Claude Julien underlined the collapse of all the patterns of things taken for granted by European intellectuals at the very moment when the questioning and doubt about immigration emerge from the street and from the political scene but also at the very moment when a show of aid operations springs out from media which allegedly takes pace outside the political field.
