Migrations and activities in Languedoc-Roussillon region South is attractive for French population. This paper presents the leadings results of a survey about internal migrations towards Languedoc-Roussillon. After a description of the migrant, the author shows the part of work in this migration and what kind of activities are choosen by the newcomers.

La population française est attirée par le Sud. Cet article présente les principaux résultats d'une enquête réalisée auprès de migrants actifs arrivés en Languedoc- Roussillon. Après avoir dressé le portrait des nouveaux Languedociens, l'auteur montre le rôle que joue le travail dans cette migration et quels sont les secteurs vers lesquels se dirigent ces migrants.
