Claude Coquelle, Achtung Projekt ! In seinem Beitrag stellt der Verfasser zwei Projektentwürfe gegenüber, die eine Strategie der sozialen und beruflichen Eingliederung unterstützen sollen. Das erste, allgemein anerkannte Konzept, erwartet von dem Einzugliedernden, sich eine genaue Vorstellung von seiner gewünschten Zukunft zu machen und seine gegenwärtigen Handlungen auf diese Vorstellung auszurichten. Dieser Entwurf wird als falsch beurteilt (man benötigt kein solches "Projekt", um seinen Platz in der Gesellschaft zu finden), ja sogar als schädlich in vielfacher Hinsicht. Als Alternative zu diesem dominierenden Konzept, entwickelt der Verfasser ein Konzept, in dem das "Projekt" als eine gegenwärtige Handlung angesehen wird, als eine situative Erfahrung, vielfätig und anpassungsfähig.

Claude Coquelle, Beware of career planning. The author describes two opposite approaches to planning ahead as a strategy for achieving social and professional success. There exists a widely held idea that to become socially integrated, it is necessary to have a ready-made plan in mind depicting one's whole future career, and that all current decisions should be made on the basis of that ideal plan. This idea has been challenged on the grounds that it is not necessary to plan ahead in order to find one's place in society, and that this procedure can actually be harmful in several ways. The author presents an alternative to the above consensus model, where "planning" is viewed as an activity rooted in the present : it is a conscious experience which is both flexible and capable of taking multiple factors into account.

L'auteur oppose deux conceptions du projet comme support à une stratégie d'insertion sociale et professionnelle. La première, largement dominante, exige du prétendant à l'insertion qu'il dispose d'une représentation de son avenir désiré, et qu'il détermine ses actes actuels en fonction de cette représentation. Cette approche est critiquée comme erronée.(il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir un tel « projet » pour trouver sa place dans la société) et néfaste à plusieurs égards. Comme alternative à ce modèle dominant, l'auteur développe une autre approche, où le « projet » est conçu comme une action présente, une expérience située, souple et plurielle.
