Zusammenfassung. In Lutetia zählt man vier Bäderkomplexe, die Entwicklung der Thermen von der frühen Kaiserzeit bis in die Spätantike illustrieren. Ausgehend von der Untersuchung der Grabungsarchive und deren Gegenüberstellung mit den Grundrissen dieser bei älteren Grabungen freigelegten Bauwerke ist es nun möglich, eine neue Interpretation dieser Thermen vorzulegen. Bestimmte Eigenschaften, wie die piscina calida in den thermes de Cluny oder sehr große Latrinen in den Thermen der rue Gay-Lussac, zeugen vom Reichtum der thermalen Architektur im Hauptort der Parisii.

. The four thermal complexes built in Lutetia are a good illustration of the evolution of this practice from the beginning of Empire up to Late Antiquity. From the excavations records and comparisons with the plans of these formerly uncovered buildings, it is possible to propose a new reading of these establishments. Some features such as the piscina calida identified inside the thermes de Cluny or the huge latrines in the baths of rue Gay-Lussac attest the luxurious thermal architecture in the capital of the Parisii.

. À Lutèce s’élevaient quatre ensembles balnéaires qui illustrent l’évolution de cette pratique du Haut-Empire à l’Antiquité tardive. À partir de l’examen des archives de fouille et de leur confrontation aux plans de ces bâtiments dégagés anciennement, il est possible de proposer une nouvelle lecture de ces établissements. Certaines caractéristiques, comme l’identification d’une piscina calida aux thermes de Cluny ou de très vastes latrines dans les thermes de la rue Gay-Lussac, témoignent de la richesse de l’architecture thermale dans le chef-lieu des Parisii.
