Dieser Aufsatz skizziert die großen Etappen in der Geschichte der Berufsvereinigungen und Gewerkschaften der spanischen Volks- schullehrer, die seit der Mine des 19. Jahrhunderts, den politischen und verwaltungsmäßigen Strukturen entsprenchend, sich schrittweise in eine Beamtenkörperschaft umwandelten. Dabei müssen drei Höhepunkte betont werden : die Durchsetzung von großen Gewerkschaften auf nationaler Ebene am Beginn des Jahrhunderts, die Ausdehnung einer Klassengewerkschaft während der Republik und der Neuaufbau einer Lehrerbewegung mit politischen und sozialen Merkmalen in den letzten Jahren des Franco Regimes.

This article outlines the main stages in the development of associations and syndicates within the Spanish elementary teaching corporation. The political and administrative position of authorities largely influenced this development as they gradually, from the second half of the nineteenth century on, transformed this corporation into a profession of civil servants. The author emphasizes three specific moments in this evolution: the emergence of important national organizations at the beginning of this century, the expansion of a class- based syndicalism during the Republican period and the rebuilding of a political and social teacher's movement during the last years of Franco 's reign.

L'article présente les grandes étapes que traverse l'organisation du mouvement associatif et syndical du corps enseignant espagnol des instituteurs, calqué sur les prises de position politiques et administratives des pouvoirs publics qui, dès la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle, le transforment progressivement en un corps professionnel de fonctionnaires. Il insiste sur trois moments de ce processus : l'implantation d'organisations d'envergure nationale au début du siècle, l'expansion du syndicalisme de classe dans la période républicaine et la reconstruction d'un mouvement d'enseignants à caractère politique et social pendant les dernières années du Franquisme.
