Survivant de 1914-1918, Lazare Ponticelli, 110 ans, était devenu un symbole. Engagé dans la Légion étrangère, on avait fait de lui, avant sa mort, l'homme qui représentait de nos jours l'épreuve que des millions de jeunes Français avaient endurée pendant quatre ans. Portrait d'un modeste soldat auquel la nation toute entière rend hommage.
