Jean de Martelaere, « Idéologie et rhétorique dans l'histoire : Sur la réitération des discours de l'ordre », L'Homme et la société, ID : 10.3406/homso.2000.3027
Jean De Martelaere, Ideology and Historicity : On the Reiteration of Discourses about Order Instead of allowing greater intellectual freedom and diversity, the end of the cold war has resulted in increased ideological and social control of national populations, especially in Europe. But there is ample historical precedent for the emergence of these reactionary tendencies, as the work of Albert O. Hirschman demonstrates. At the heart of the ideology animating these tendencies is a certain vision of historical progress associated with the capitalist system of production.
