The mathematical theory of categories takes a great place in the last works of Jean Piaget since they deal with notions like morphism and correspondence. Overmore, from the genetic epistemology point of view, the concepts thematized by this mathematical theory of mathematical constructions, must play a fundamental part in the mechanisms of psychogenesis. Therefore we present a categorical mathematical model for the construction of psychological categories. We suggest mathematical interpretations for basic concepts of Piaget's theory like, scheme, form, morphism, invariant. Thus we can give a mathematical characterization for the three classical stages of the process : intra, inter, and trans .

La théorie mathématique des catégories occupe une place importante dans les derniers travaux de Jean Piaget où priment les notions de morphisme, et de correspondance. En outre, du point de vue de l'épistémologie génétique, les concepts thématisés par cette théorie mathématique des constructions mathématiques, doivent jouer un rôle fondamental dans les mécanismes de la psychogenèse. On présente donc un modèle mathématique catégorique du processus de construction des catégories au sens psychologique du terme. Les interprétations proposées pour les concepts clés de la théorie piagétienne comme schèmes, formes, morphismes, invariants, permettent une caractérisation mathématique des trois étapes classiques intra, inter, et trans .
