Identity of the units of expression of a language. What status, what function can the identity of the elements of expression of a language have ? There exists a continuous and reciprocal relation between cognition (the human beings) and language. From cognition to language, there are production and perception, with identity as goal ; from language to cognition, there is a supply of common structures or canvas, substratum that allows to construct cognition and to have at one's disposal elements «transmittable » between the beings that are building and using cognition and language.

Quel statut, quelle fonction peut avoir l'identité des éléments d'expression d'une langue ? Il existe une relation permanente et réciproque entre la cognition (les êtres humains) et la langue. De la cognition vers la langue, il y a production et perception, et l'identité est un but ; inversement, il y a production de structures ou canevas communs, substrat permettant de construire la cognition et de disposer d'éléments «transmissibles » entre les êtres qui construisent et utilisent cognition et langue.
