Tomorrow : the era of complete automation as a time for rediscovering the sense of work. This text summarizes the content of an oral conference presented in the framework of a seminar organized by Espace Marx in January 2014 under the title “ What will tomorrow be made of ?” We wish to thank Guy Carassus, of Espace Marx, who has freely made available to us the full transcription of this conference, and who has accorded us free of charge the permission to publish this text in intellectica. The work of editing this complete version has been largely carried out by Véronique Havelange, with the substantial contribution of Bernard Stiegler.

Ce texte résume le contenu d’une conférence présentée dans le cadre d’un séminaire de l’Espace Marx en janvier 2014 qui avait pour titre «De quoi demain sera-t-il fait ? » Nous remercions vivement Guy Carassus, de l’Espace Marx, qui nous a gracieusement envoyé la transcription intégrale de cette conférence, et qui nous a donné l’autorisation de publier ce texte dans intellectica.
