Résumé En

SUMMARY Brief description of about 500 cloth fragments found during excavations in caves in the Bandiagara cliff (Mali). The majority dates from the XI th up till the XVth century and could be attributed to the Tellem culture. Some more recent cloths (XVIIth-XVIIIth century ?) are probably of Dogon origin. The cotton and woollen cloths are mostly in tabby and weft- faced rep. They include a.o. robes, blankets and caps.
