Because it is impossible to accept the identification of the θεός Μέγας from Histria, mentioned on the architrave of a doric temple (III century BC), with the θεός Μέγας Δερξελάτης, attested only at Odessos in the Roman period, it is more probable that the Histrian divinity represents either Helios or Sarapis, perhaps already associated.

Dans l’impossibilité d’admettre l’identification du θεός Μέγας d’Histria, mentionné sur l’architrave d’un temple dorique du me siècle av. J.-C., avec le θεός Μέγας Δερξελάτης, attesté seulement à Odessos à l’époque romaine, on propose l’identification de la divinité histrienne soit avec Hélios, soit avec Sarapis, peut-être déjà associés.
